One thing is for sure; a product is useless if nobody needs it. Seth Godin said, “Don’t find customers for your products, find products for your customers.” What Godin means is to put our customers’ needs first. We must see the products as something that can help our customers; and not who will need our products.
Products are the things people need to assist them in doing things better. This is what finding products for your customers is all about. Successful entrepreneurs know that their customers are their number one priority. And the only way they can help them is by figuring out what the customer needs and how else they can help them.
Products are essential in all businesses, but more importantly, we need to match the products to what our customer needs. Our customers are important to us. So don’t go out to find the right customers, go and look for what your customers truly need.
