Business is all about our relationships; our relationship with our clients, our staff, and our suppliers. It is all about the people we deal with and how we will maintain those relationships.

As entrepreneurs, we shouldn’t just think about the profit and how we would be able to land a sale. We need to focus on all the people we would encounter. Just like what Mike Davidson said, “It’s all about people. It’s about networking and being nice to people and not burning any bridges.”

Networking is about socializing with people in your industry and getting to know them. By doing this, you get to learn more about their experiences and maybe even apply those on your own business. Also, it’s a great way to expand your contacts. Take care of each and every contact by being nice. There really is nothing wrong with being nice to all the people you meet and talk to. This is the first step in building relationships and is the best way to take care of relationships.

For every person you will meet, there is a lesson or an experience to learn from. No matter whom you meet along your path to success, be nice. Build relationships and care for them.
