Mistakes are integral part of life and very important in one’s improvement. Nobody ever went through something and not made any mistakes. We all did, big or small. What matters is not how few mistakes we made, but what we learned from them.

Sometimes, making mistakes can be a good thing. It’s just like what Adam Osborne said, “The most valuable thing you can make is a mistake – you can’t learn anything from being perfect.” Osborne values the lessons we can learn from our mistakes. Instead of beating ourselves up, we can focus on what else we can do better the next time around.

There is no sure formula to success; most of the time, entrepreneurs experiment on what would work best. Entrepreneurs prepare and plan but they can also make mistakes. If they do everything perfectly, there is no improvement nor would they learn anything. Through our mistakes, we grow.

So when you make mistakes, try not to be too hard on yourself. You won’t always be able to avoid mistakes, just remember to learn from them. Use them to grow and improve. Don’t aim to be perfect, aim to learn from all the stumbles you go through.
