Social Media Marketing Daily Do’s
Previously, we’ve discussed what social media marketing and how you can use them to your business’ advantage. But it’s not enough to simply create an account in Facebook or Twitter; you need to fully utilize them.
Here are some daily tasks you can do to make sure you fully use social media:
- Check your social media profiles. There’s no sense in creating various social media accounts if you will just leave it without any kind of activity. The first thing to do is log in. It doesn’t matter if it’s Pinterest, Facebook, or Twitter. Check what’s happening on your profiles.
- Respond to direct interactions. This simply means responding to any direct messages from followers and potential fans. These direct interactions can come in various formats like: Facebook messages and Twitter replies. But they are not limited to those. They can also be Titter direct messages, posts on the Facebook walls, and comments. Whether they have something good or bad to say, respond to them out of respect. Interacting with them means you value all feedbacks.
- Post stimulating content. This can encourage discussions and interactions among your followers and readers. You could ask questions, share an interesting article, comment on recent events post, or post an inspirational image or quote. Along with these kinds of posts, don’t forget to include some call-to-action to encourage a reaction immediately. This may be, “let me know what you think” or “share your thoughts about…”
- Seek out new followers. One way to do this is seek out authority figures in your industry on Twitter and follow people who are following them. Chances are these followers are interested in what you have to say as well. Meanwhile, on permission-based websites like Facebook this same strategy can be more challenging.
These are some of the things you can do to really take advantage of social media. If you’re just starting when it comes to social media marketing, these daily tasks can help you improve your website’s traffic as well as interact with your readers.
Social Media Marketing is not so hard to do. You just need to be persistent and do it regularly.
