Content may be King, but Marketing is Queen

Nowadays, digital entrepreneurs are seeing the importance of valuable content on their websites. But social media marketing also helps bring in readers and followers. And like the quote above said, “Content is king, but marketing is queen, and runs the household.”

Without the help of marketing, your content will go unnoticed. In fact, with today’s social media revolution, marketing through various avenues is really expanding. There are just more and more ways of how you can engage and interact with other people and potential clients.

The analogy made here is that, the marketing and content are equally important and benefit each other.

Say you have great content, but lack the marketing; readers won’t discover all those great content you have. And those could have been potential leads. Meanwhile, aggressive marketing but lacking quality content can bring sales down too; because readers and followers won’t see all the value of leading them to a product-less campaign.

So remember to partner valuable content with an active marketing strategy. Don’t sacrifice one with the other; keep it balance.
