Stop Thinking About Failure and Start Trying

Failing is hard to take, but you know what’s the worse feeling? It is not even trying to succeed. It is that moment when you realize what you should have done, could have been, and would be in the present.

Let this encourage you to try. Try to do something that will contribute to your success. It is better to try and fail rather than simply giving up.

Failure is something we cannot avoid. There will be moments in our lives and even in our businesses that we would hit a wall or would experience difficulties. Reality is, we can’ win them all. Some challenges, we may fail. But it’s through those failures that we learn and we become better at what we do. Our experiences make us stronger and better each day. But most of all, it is the way we adapt to these experiences that help us become good. Another way we become better is when we use these experiences as references for future actions. When we learn, we grow.

Isn’t that better than just doing nothing and not trying? Like the quote by Theodore Roosevelt, “It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.” You have to take a chance and try. Failure or success lies after each time you try. But the way I see it, it is always taking the path to success. Because if the result is not what you expect, you can always learn from it, if not then you are closer to your destination.

So despite what may come, just try. Don’t think about the failure; think of what you could accomplish when you try. Just do it.

Big failures - are those necessary for massive success?
