Audio Blog: Execute A Good Plan Now

Over-preparing has its pro’s and con’s. Sure you’d cover all the details, but it can make you lose the window of opportunity laid out for you. Sometimes, we only get one chance and we mustn’t waste it. I’m all up for preparing a plan of action, but timing is also integral to the plan’s success. According to George S. Patton, “A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.”

I agree with Patton, because we can’t always have a perfect execution, but we can always take advantage of a perfect timing. And perfect timing is integral in success. There will come a time when you will just have to execute whatever plan you already have on hand and take action. There’s no need to wait for tomorrow or next week. Don’t just wait for the perfect timing, make it! Would you rather be successful tomorrow than today?
