In the 16th of July, 2012, a great leader left this world. But he left a mark on every professional too – a mark of leadership, efficiency and being somewhat truly happy with what one currently has. Stephen Covey passed away because of complications from a biking accident he had a few months ago.
God bless his soul.
But as with every eulogy, I’m here to celebrate how his journey, not his start nor end, has affected many professionals and family folk. His books, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, First Things First, Principle-Centered Leadership, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families, The 8th Habit, and The Leader In Me—How Schools and Parents Around the World Are Inspiring Greatness, One Child at a Time have literally sold millions in copies and are on several languages. All these for the sake of making life and work flow work, at the end of the day.
The world should mourn for people like you, Stephen – people who incorporate greatness in the smallest of tasks.
Thank you and may you rest in peace.
