“I’m sorry, I can’t, I’m busy.” – How many times have we uttered those words? How many times have we mentioned we are “busy?” Numerous times, I’m sure. Do you ever feel that when you say you’re “busy” you tend to lose focus on what you need to accomplish and focus more on being busy?
Often times, we create our busy state in our minds. We forget that we are given enough time in a day to accomplish what we need in those 24 hours, while the rest can be done the next day. Instead of saying you’re busy, create a mindset that is focused and determined to be productive.
If we can just leave the “busy” mindset, just be in the moment, and accomplish all that you can for the time given to you. At times, being “busy” would just cloud our minds. So stop glorification of busy and just be the person you need to be now!
Get rid of the worries and concerns; focus on the tasks at hand. When you do this, you’ll accomplish more and have a more productive day. Stop saying busy. Concentrate on your priorities for the day and go from there. You will definitely finish off more on your checklist this way.
