Do Your Thing And Don’t Care If They Like It

We won’t always have fans when we are pursuing our goals. Not everyone will like what you will do or would approve of it. But it is your dream, not theirs.

You don’t need approval to pursue your dreams. You don’t need another person’s validation to keep doing what you are doing. As long as you are not causing harm to yourself or others, then just keep working on your goals.

Truth is, a lot of us tend to ask for validation from others. It gives us a feeling that what we are doing is right and the confidence to keep doing what we are doing. We need to find the confidence in us to remain motivated, not because others think what we are doing is right, because we love what we are doing.

Joy, passion, and love—these are what keep us going. These are our motivation to dream and create a better future. Don’t listen to the haters. Just “do your thing and don’t care if they like it.” If it’s your dream, then go out there and make it happen!
