Never Run Back To Your Past Just Because It’s Familiar

We often get scared of things we don’t know. It’s just like how we used to feel when it’s the first day of classes. We don’t know who the new teachers will be, if we will be in the same classes as our friends, or if we will have a great school year. Anything new and foreign, we tend to be a bit unsure of, just like our future.

We can’t always be afraid of something we don’t know. Instead, we must embrace the changes that are coming our way. Who knows they might be great opportunities? It’s about how we see things. Change can be scary; so is our future because we have no idea how it will turn out. But just like what the quote above says, “Don’t run back to your past because it’s familiar.”

If we keep running back to our past then we will never get anywhere. There would be no progress and no moving forward. We will never reach our goal because we always end up going back to what is familiar and the lesser risk. If all entrepreneurs and innovators did this, then we will never have any business and technological advancement. We may end up not having the internet or even cars.

Face the scary part of the future, because it may be accompanied by something great as well. Moving forward is the only way to go. It is the only way we will all reach our success. So leave the past behind and look forward to what the future will bring.
