We are what we repeatedly do, excellence; therefore, is not an act but a habit. I totally agree with what Aristotle said. It not only shows our dedication to reach our goals but also our will to improve ourselves.
We are defined by our actions and how we view life. Who would recommend an excellent doctor if he has been lousy at his profession? It is his commitment to his work would even grant him such label. As with successful entrepreneurs, they did not get to where they are if not for their dedication in excellence.
If you practice mediocrity in your work then you will get mediocre result and would always be known as someone who settles for mediocrity. But if at the very start, you strive for excellence and never settle for anything less then, you will surely get excellent results.
As you continue to push for excellence no matter how small or big a task may be, you become so used to it that it is no longer just an OPTION of doing things but the ONLY WAY to do it.
This is what Aristotle is saying. We become what we repeatedly do. The question now is, what kind of person have you become?
