Preparing for what’s yet to come and having contingency plans are great to practice. But it shouldn’t rule us. This means, we shouldn’t let planning and overthinking take over our time.
It’s not just the time taken away from us, but also the opportunity of being able to do more and accomplish more. And more often than not, overthinking also leads to negative thoughts. We become paranoid of all the “what if’s” and scenarios we play in our heads. These negative thoughts won’t do anyone any good because they will only invite negative things.
The best thing to do is to prepare and hope everything else goes well. Nobody ever got the perfect outcome or ideal situations. Along the way, we would adapt and change some things. It is never easy but each challenge will help us become stronger, wiser, and closer to our goals.
Remember to rid your life of negativity, including negative thoughts. Nobody ever accomplished anything good by overthinking. Actually, nobody accomplished anything when they overthink things. Life can be complicated, but that doesn’t mean you have to add more complications. Try and keep it simple. Be positive. Aim for your goal and do all that you can to achieve it.
