The Internet is a vast field. People will be saying something every time. In order to build your reputation and expand your influence, you need to exert more effort in making a connection. If landing a sale on a personal level can sometimes be challenging, it is the same digitally. Since we are trying to create a personal connection through technology’s help, we need to exert more effort. This is what marketers and digital entrepreneurs need to understand. Just because a prospect is in your social circle, doesn’t automatically means he/she will buy from you. There is no real guarantee until you have invested in a relationship with them. The relationship starts with getting to know them, their needs, and how will you be able to help them. Soon, they may trust you enough that you would be able to close a sale.
Relationships need work. You need to give time and effort on them before they can blossom. When closing a sale, relationship is integral. Connect; build your relationship and reputation, that’s the only way to do it. So go and do it.
