You might be asking why out of all the available content management systems out there, I’d recommend WordPress. Well, truth be told, WordPress was intended to only be a blogging platform. But thanks to the changing times and minds of the WordPress community, that changed and it can virtually be anything its users want it to be.
Think of WordPress as the Internet businessman’s utility belt in that it potentially has everything you need. In this article, I’ll tell you why you should choose WordPress over the others. Check this out:
It’s FREE
Ever heard the adage: “The best things in life are FREE”? Well, such rings true for WordPress. It’s free and because of that, anyone can freely download, use, share, extend and modify this powerful tool.
This could be one of the reasons why WordPress is the most popular content management platform. Read on and I’ll give you more reasons.
It’s Tech-challenged Friendly
If you’ve ever used a word-processor before, then there’s a huge chance you’ll be able to manage something as simple as WordPress. It literally has the same buttons and functions as those found in Microsoft Word.

It’s Customizable
One of my favourite reasons why I love WordPress and will always choose it over other content management systems is that it’s very customizable. You can’t go wrong with thousands of WordPress theme providers that provide you with templates that are not only beautiful – they can also really help you achieve your business’ bottom line. Just like WordPress, some of them are for FREE!
If that’s not enough and if you want extended abilities, there are other resources out there that can give you value for your buck. WordPress theme providers like Elegant Themes, Woo Themes, and Theme Forest have a variety of themes that simply have that Oomph factor that makes them so great.
Besides theme and template, WordPress also has a lot of plugins that serve to compliment functions that may not be available for premium themes. The best news is, some of the good ones are free too!
The Community helps
The good thing about free stuff is the fact that there seems to a lot of people following it. Since WordPress is open source and is customizable by everyone, it hosts a community that helps out. It also keeps on growing and improving as time passes by.
Having problems or issues trying to do something? Don’t worry. WordPress is proud to have a community that helps each and every one out in time of need.
