As online entrepreneurs, your business must show your potential clients the reason why it is offering the products it is offering. Are you going to teach people? Will you be sharing a piece of knowledge? Make it very clear at the very start why you are here. Also, make it clear what it is you are bringing to the table. Is it knowledge? Is it an innovative product?

When it comes to talking to your customers or followers, you must be very honest. Don’t lure them through lies. Give them a clear picture of who you are and what you are offering. Win them by being truthful. Follow what Dr. Flint McGlaughlin said, “Clarity trumps persuasion.”

Once you paint a clear picture for them, you no longer need to persuade them; for they will see themselves the value of your work and your business. We don’t need so much to have loyal followers. We only need to convey a clear and valuable message across reliable mediums. This is what we need to effectively do Internet marketing.

It’s not some secret formula, it’s all about going back to the root of how we want our audience to feel and how to react. What will be their next step? Give them a path to walk on. Show them the map, give them clear directions, and lead them through the path. That’s what it is all about.

Always remember to have clarity in your message and just forget about persuasion.
